Overview:As a Business Analyst, you will act as a bridge between customer business users and the software development team, in support of the organisation's digital transformation. Analyse existing or new business processes in order to gather and document technical requirements and support the deployment of digital policy administration and other systems and act as a member of the sprint team taking on such tasks to support as required such as testing and demo support Role Responsibilities:Develop effective working relationships with business managers and other stakeholders, in order to quickly uncover and understand business needs and translate them into design and functional descriptions for implementation in a policy administration system.Analyse problems arising from ineffective or inefficient legacy processes, conduct analysis and propose solutions that will deliver measurable commercial benefits, including supporting the preparation of business cases.Liaise with other team members to discuss how systems function should and could work, understanding how any given requirement will interact with other aspects of the system.Take responsibility for the gathering, documentation and management of both project-relevant requirements and business-as-usual change requests, whether underwriting or claims related.Document detailed business requirements and specifications and ensure these are agreed at all levels throughout the business.Support the IT system implementation by taking on the requirements lead role in agile system implementation projectsProvide support to quality assurance and system testing. Plan and coordinate user acceptance testingAssisting with the production of training material for new systems / processesAssisting with quality assurance validating requirements have been achievedCollaboration with business owners to ensure effective benefit realisation Experience required:Strong understanding of the technical/underwriting aspects of insurance products.Strong understanding of all operational processes that support sales, underwriting and claims.An interest in and good general knowledge of information technologies, and their application within the insurance industry.Strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills in English If you have the relevant skills and experience and would like to apply, please follow the link provided.
