Dredging and Environment Manager (Harbour Engineering) Harwich, Essex Salary £60,000-£65,0000 | Comprehensive benefits package |Permanent contract My client, a Port Authority are looking to recruit a Dredging and Environment Manager to lead their Harbour Engineering department. As a senior manager reporting directly into the CEO you will be responsible for implementing the Authority's strategy in key areas such as maintenance dredging, capital dredging, environmental impact and infrastructure maintenance and development.

You will be instrumental in developing and delivering their capabilities as they commence a large-scale harbour improvement project in 2021, and your ability to influence key partnerships internally and externally, as well as provide trusted and credible leadership will make you a valued part of our forward-thinking team.

We would welcome applications from candidates who hold an engineering, construction, environmental or allied degree, who are members of ICE or a similar professional body. Ideally, you will have experience of marine and harbour operations and also a knowledge of UK and European environmental legislation as well as an understanding of development and consent processes.
