E Commerce Retail Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for the income and footprint growth of our online retail business, developing and implementing a target driven ecommerce sales strategy focussed on growing and diversifying our online offer.
Tasks
Online Sales:
Assist in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the on line sales of pre loved donations and new goods
Grow the Hospice ecommerce presence by the introduction and development of key sales platforms such as Ebay, Facebook Marketplace and Amazon with the ability to analyse performance and report on financial progress
Analysing and interrogating website usage to identify areas of sales opportunities
Maintain a high satisfaction of user experience
Keep ahead of new developments in the e-commerce field, continually looking for new opportunities and platforms
Monitor industry trends and provide benchmarking information and ideas
Undertake `hands on` sales activities such as product photography, description writing, stock management and postage.
Prepare weekly report analysing and assessing sales against KPI`s
Research branded St Catherine`s Hospice goods.
Retail Marketing
Work closely with the Head of Retail to promote both the online retail presence and Hospice shops in the locality
Work closely with the Communications team to develop co-ordinated marketing campaigns
Share best practice across the sector to raise the profile of charity retail
Keep abreast of trends and commercial opportunities
Management
Senior member of the retail leadership team
Develop, grow and support our team of e commerce volunteers
Responsible for sales target figures
Responsible for weekly and monthly performance updates including sales volumes, web traffic, user experience and engagement levels.
Present updates to Trustees at Trading Sub Committee.
Other duties include:
Carry out any other duties as required by the Chief Executive
Health and Saftey
Comply with Hospice policies, procedures and protocols
Volunteers
The Hospice has the advantage of being supported by a number of volunteers. If a volunteer is assigned to assist you at any time, you will still retain responsibility for the requirements of this job in terms of accuracy, efficiency and standards of completion. You will also ensure good communication and be mindful of your responsibility towards that volunteer in terms of Health and Safety.
