Senior DevOps Engineer (PowerShell Automation Azure). Award-winning global trading organisation is seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in a high-visibility, high-impact role and help deliver cutting-edge software to their users.

You'll play a key role in a global, well-established team who are responsible for ensuring the software is as performant as possible and ready for the growth of the business. You'll take manage a transition to continuous deployment and a migration to Azure, taking ownership of building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure and the implementation of new technologies like ElasticSearch, Apache Kafka and more.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you'll work with key figures business-wide to plan projects and influence project management decisions, understanding stakeholder needs to turn them into technical realities. You'll focus on automating and improving the development and release processes, to optimise efficiency and keep the company a step ahead of their competitors.

*Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview, onboarding and 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures. You'll remain predominantly remote thereafter, with occasional visits to the London-based offices.*

Requirements:

You're an accomplished automation-focused DevOps Engineer

You have good PowerShell scripting skills

You have working knowledge of the following technologies; TeamCity, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

You're familiar with C#, .Net and .Net Core

You have experience of Windows and Linux operating systems

You're a natural problem solver with meticulous attention to detail

You're a confident, self-assured communicator who is comfortable collaborating with people at any level of business
