Excellent opportunity to join a world leading company. This will be working in a leading logistics department on large global projects. The role:Project leader for Logistics control tower strategy globally and regionally.Design a Global Control Tower strategy optimising in source and outsourced activities, transportation costs and adherence to defined service levels.Identify by region transportation requirementsEnsure Control Tower template covers requirementsDeploy defined models in the regions interacting with the transportation single point of contacts enabling the teams on the field to implement the Control Tower template.Supports strategy definition (for all logistics channels and SCM segments)Provide global standards, handle exceptions and call out if applicable.Owns TMS business Requirements.Implement scorecard and performance tracking.Transportation Team Development
Experience needed:
Longevity and confirmed expertise in Control Tower ModelsControl Tower improvement applying lean/6-sigma methodologiesAbility to turn logistics fulfilment flows into a business discussion highlighting priorities and opportunities to stakeholders with basic understanding of financial and operational implications.Ability to quickly process and understand complexity & ambiguity and define right solutions to tough problems.Ideally you will have experience in this role within a 3PL/LSPApply Now or get in touch with Niall Fearon from IC Resources for details.
