The role
Our new global, omni-channel strategy is set to make us a better business for customers around the world. To turn these exciting plans into reality, we need you to provide a range of IT goods and services. In short, you'll support the delivery of our IT procurement strategy - on an international scale. Along with managing day to day supplier relationships and contract management, you'll tackle key contracts and tenders, support multi-step strategic sourcing, negotiate pricing and contract terms and make sure processes are implemented. Whatever the task, you'll secure targeted savings and apply a commercial approach that supports our wider five-year plan.
A bit about you
You've worked in IT before, ideally with e-commerce, IT infrastructure and Cloud services. And you've developed the skills required for procurement. That means you can analyse and present data, manage contract databases, assess risk and provide administrative governance. You also have the communication skills to negotiate contracts, influence suppliers and manage stakeholders of all levels here at Clarks. Using these talents, you'll support strategic sourcing by analysing RFPs, making recommendations to stakeholders and achieving quality, price and value. If you're driven, commercially sharp and degree-educated (or equivalent), we'd love to hear from you.
Life with us
Over 46 million pairs of Clarks shoes are sold globally. That makes us a £1.5 billion business and a truly worldwide brand. We now have some 12,000 employees across 75 different countries - everywhere from Europe to the Americas. Despite being the world's leading global casual footwear brand, we're still majority owned by the Clark family and based in Street, Somerset - where the Clarks business began. Street is the nerve centre of our business, driving growth and the whole Clarks success story.
The benefits
As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you'll also enjoy a variety of benefits. These range from 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays) to discounted healthcare. And, as everyone loves new shoes, you'll also get a very healthy discount on our products.
We love hearing from great people
