Senior Authorised Person (HV)South East EnglandCompetitive Salary (DOE) + Training + progression + Pension + HolidaysExcellent opportunity for an electrical engineer who is a Senior Authorised Person to join an impressive company that will offer you an autonomous role with variety, technical challenge and the chance to progress further.Based in South East England this company specialise in the management of electrical assets and energy networks.In this role you will be responsible for a group of Electrical Engineers, electrical aspects of a district CHP network, HV switching & interventions as well as commissioning work relevant to the energy network.The ideal candidate will have great communication and management skills and will have past experience of working on similar projects as a Senior Authorised Person.This is a great role for a proven Electrical Engineer to join a leading Energy supplier and take on a significant amount of management responsibility while still being involved hands-on.The role:*Electrical asset management and people management

*Responsibility of all electrical aspects of a 1.6MW CHP network

*Planning and carrying out HV interventions and switching

*Ensuring and improving upon HSE compliance

*Co-ordinating staff resources and contractors to provide out-of-hours reactive maintenance and a smooth delivery of service The person:*Previous experience of working as an Authorised Person for HV switching

*Proven people and asset management skills

*City and Guilds or NVQ Electrical qualification and certification for working as an Authorised Person around HV

* Experience of working with commercial electrical equipment and power generation equipment

* PLC/SCADA experience

* Knowledge of Plant relevant to District Network Operation

* Willing and open to learning
