£30,000 - £40,000 + Progression + Holiday + Pension

Are you a Health and Safety Manager from the construction sector, looking to join market leading renewable energy company at the forefront of this rapidly growing industry?

With multiple sites, this company have been going for over 20 years and specialise in the renewable energy industry. With increased government backing and a boom in the industry, they have grown from strength to strength, and continue to see ongoing year on year growth with extensive plans moving forward. As such they are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to help them continue that growth moving forward.

In this role you will be working from their Exeter office to oversee the companies health and safety policy and compliance. You will also be involved in temporary works coordination across the companies projects. The role will require you to travel to sites to carry out audits and encourage a culture of health and safety within the business. Your responsibilities will include championing health and safety policies across the sites and ensure compliance with relevant legislation as well as investigating any accidents or near misses. The company are going through on going expansion and there is possibility that this role will evolve to start managing a team.

The role:

*Implement and update the companies health and safety policy

*Champion health and safety policies

*Investigate accidents and near misses

*Site visits to conduct audits

*Deliver training to staff to improve health and safety adherence

The person:

*H&S qualification

*Experience within the construction sector

*Knowledge of temporary works coordination
