MDR Cyber Security Consultant

A large leading IVDR/MDR client of mine are looking to secure their product and non-products against cyber security hacking and to access of data by bringing in a security cyber specialist. This specialist must be an MDR expert, having worked as a regulatory and quality specialist but also be an expert within highlighting, placing and integrating high level cyber security measures, policies and procedures. They are offering a 6 month contract to someone who has the following skill set;

- Extensive knowledge of quality systems and dealing with regulatory notified bodies

- Experience to ISO27001, ISO 27006

- ISO13485 experience

- Detailed knowledge and background within cybersecurity technologies, standards, policies and procedures Key activities include:

- Risk management (evaluation, control, risk/benefit analysis, residual risk acceptability and reporting)

- Product and application controls

- Implementing the clients policies and procedures

- Training, monitoring and metrics and threat and vulnerability management

- Support the risk reduction and mitigation for the clients products and services to meet compliance and regulatory requirements within the Quality management system

- Define and lead the Secure lifecycle deployment strategy, and provide guidance to all business units

- Extend the quality management system framework with the scope of Medical device cyber security and resilience

- Production and process control, design control, supplier management, distribution control, risk management, CSV, CAPA, non conform, Quality and supplier 6 month contractRemote working offeredMust be UK or Ireland based - UK ltd company or umbrella 8 hours per day - daily rate TBC Start date: Dec/january 2020/21Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
