They are looking to massively expand their R&D team in the coming years and are looking for someone to help lead that expansion and to enable them drive the business and technology forward.In this role you will be required to be in the Truro office the majority of the time. You will work as part of the R&D team to lead the development of brand new products from concept through to completion as well as researching improvements to the existing line. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the R&D Engineers including training and appraisals. You will also take a lead role on blue sky projects looking at completely novel technology to ensure the company maintain their position as industry leaders. You will initially be overseeing a small team however as the department grows your responsibility will grow with it.This is the perfect role for someone with experience leading an R&D team who is looking to join a rapidly growing company working on cutting edge renewable technology.The role:

*Lead the R&D team

*Design, development and testing of new products

*Head up blue sky projects working on brand new concepts

The person:

*Experience running an R&D team

*Background working within a start up or fast growth business would be beneficial
