Location: Remote working, with some travel to Reading, UK
Job Purpose and primary objectives: The primary objective of this role to work with the waste and water treatment systems called the Instrument Control Automation (ICA) team and support detailed business analysis activities ? Provide technical advice & support into the OT Design Authority ? Provide a single point of contact for technical expertise and governance ? Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all people under their line management (where applicable) ? Work in multivendor environment to ensure that any requirements which are not fully met or any options or considerations which require a business decision are discussed and agreed to ensure the most appropriate business outcome ? Provide guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Business Analyst working with a group of analysts in an agile manner - Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it): - Other responsibilities - Budgets, targets, equipment etc (please specify): Key Skills/Knowledge: ? Sound knowledge of Operations Technology Infrastructure ? Customer facing experience and onsite experience ? Good working experience of multi- vendor environment. ? Very good documentation and presentation skills ? Good knowledge of Agile and Waterfall ways of working ? Good communication skills and fluency in English. Have strong stakeholder management & engagement skills, effective at all levels Must lead the following independently ? Gather inputs from business and digital stakeholders ? Suggest on Options ? Cost benefit analysis ? MosCow Assessments Good to have ? Water Domain or Utilities experience, ? Good Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills ? Experience required: ? Areas of technical expertise will include: ? Instruments, networks, Profibus ? PLC’s, network switches ? RTU’s, telecoms ? SCADA, site, Regional, HMI’s ? OT Infrastructure, architecture ? Security, physical (ESS), cyber (remote access), NISD ? Data transfer, links - external, internal, corporate ? Package plants System integration Duration of the Assignment: 3 months
