£65,000 - £70,000 + Holidays + Medical + BenefitsSenior Systems Design Engineer position available at one of the leading maritime defence companies in the world, offering the chance for international travel and the chance to work on highly exclusive projects.Are you an experienced systems engineer? Have you worked on integrated bridge systems?This company is a world leader in maritime defence and have continued to thrive over the COVID period, taking on 50 new employees. Due to their continued success and an increased demand in projects, they are looking to take on a Senior Systems Design engineer to help lead their projects.In this role you will be tasked with developing system design, including the design of subsystems and the integration of systems. You will work on the development of system requirement design and be working on the systems throughout the full life cycle of the projects. Due to the nature of the projects you will be working on, the successful candidate must be able to gain UK Security Clearance.The ideal candidate will be a Senior Systems Design Engineer with experience in marine electronics or integrated bridge systems with a background in a defence or government domain, looking for a position where you will play an integral part in delivering highly exclusive projects.The role:

- Develop and implement system designs

- Design of subsystems

- Identify and resolve program support deficiencies

- Customer design reviews

The person:

- Degree qualified in Physics or Engineering (electrical or mechanical)

- Similar experience in a systems engineering position

- Background in a defence or government domain

- Knowledge of marine navigation, sensors and systemsReference Number: RTR 96329
