We are searching for an experienced IT Support & Service Delivery Team Leader for an exciting business based in Somerset. You will be joining a dedicated IT Support team who are very passionate about delivering high quality, reliable and maintainable systems.You will be responsible for ensuring that this growing company is provided with the best possible IT services, driving and supporting change to methodologies, efficiencies and standards across the IT environment.Your duties will include but are not limited to the following;Maintaining and managing the Software and Hardware Asset RegisterManaging and providing analysis for incidents, business change requests and asset management, using IT Service Management Software (Hornbill)Hardware Procurement (Desktops, Peripherals, Mobile Estate etc.)Assisting with policy and procedure reviews related to IT best practiceDriving and supporting deployments of applications and patches throughout the businessChange Control Assessment and ApprovalsLiaising with other departments to enforce and improve IT Policies & ServicesProcess MappingResponsible for the 1st Line Technical Support team, including, Team Management, Professional Development & Managing KPIs/DeliverablesRisk AwarenessYou will be a key point of contact for escalations and sending out Central Communications to the business, as and when requiredIdentifying trends and performing Root Cause Analysis for common incidents and issues Qualifications and Experience:A mixture of the following qualifications and experience is required to be a success in this role;ITIL Foundation (or a very good understanding of ITIL Framework)Working knowledge of VisioChange ManagementExcellent Communication and Organisational skillsSoftware and Hardware Asset Management LifecycleKnowledge of Email Filtering Management (Monitoring, Maintenance & Configuration)Focus and ability to adapt to critical situationsAudit and compliance experienceIT Service Management Software AdministrationOffice 365Any experience across Network Topologies, Protocols, Layers and Reliance would be a bonus but is NOT essentialThe role is being offered with a very competitive salary and good benefits, including, Health Cover, Bike-to-Work Scheme, Childcare Vouchers, 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), Pension Scheme, Birthday off Work, Beach & Charity Days, Social Activities & Dress Down Days.KEYWORDSIT Support, Team Leader, Service Delivery, ITIL, business Change Requests, Asset Management, IT Policies & Services, Software and Hardware Assets, Procurement, Process Mapping, IT Audit & Compliance, Networks, Office 365Please note that due to a high level of applications, we can only respond to applicants whose skills and qualifications are suitable for this position.
