This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme or Project professional to take a leading role within a high-profile programme that has now been running for over twelve months and that will continue for several years into the future. The DIO Asset Management Programme supports the development and implementation of an infrastructure asset management methodology that will produce the coordinated activity required to make sure that estate assets effectively and efficiently contribute to delivering defence objectives. The PMO will provide hands on guidance and assistance in all P3M areas to the Programme and Project Managers. They will also be responsible for producing regular reports to senior leaders through the programme governance structure. The role is one of the cornerstones of this important programme and whilst it will be challenging at times it provides an opportunity to make a real difference and help steer the programme towards successful outcomes. Essential Experience
Significant PMO or programme/project manager experience Knowledge of programme/project management tools and techniques The ability to work proactively, and under pressure, without close supervision or direction The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all parts of an organisation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desirable Experience Formal Project or Programme Management training
