This multi-national developer of SoC and ISP solutions is urgently seeking to strengthen its customer focussed software development teams based in either Munich or near Darmstadt. They are now seeking Software Application Engineers - Photographic / Imaging to work closely with their customer development teams. The Software Applications Engineers - Photographic / Imaging will be responsible for developing embedded software in C and C++ used for image sensors and ISPs for photographic applications. The Software Applications Engineers - Photographic / Imaging will provide technical expertise and support for software development projects and onsite optimisation. After achieving your technical degree or equivalent you will have been developing embedded software using C and C++ (preferably with some knowledge of C++11 and 14). You will have in-depth exposure to embedded Linux and Linux build environments and have a background developing ISPs or imaging products for photographic applications. Any background in the semiconductor industry would be beneficial. You also need to speak fluent German and English.
