This is an opportunity to join a growing, friendly team as a Software Trainer working for an established IT company.

They provide a comprehensive range of workforce management solutions. They are seeking an ambitious, motivated and energetic individual who thrives on working with customers and colleagues to ensure the successful implementation and continuing effective use of our products. Principal duties will be the design and delivery of customer software training and resolution of technical and service delivery issues. You must have experience in preparing and presenting software training and be able to develop courses and training materials to support your activities.

This position requires a team player who is motivated to learn and strives to find timely solutions to customer challenges. The role will require constant and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders. You will be actively encouraged to cultivate new ways of working and to help create innovative training and support solutions.

You will be enthusiastic, confident, adaptable, quick and willing to learn but also happy to develop and contribute ideas and assist colleagues whenever possible.

Duties to include

- Organising and delivering training on the Company's products and services to new and existing customers either in person or remotely

- Designing and developing appropriate training materials, techniques and technologies

- Assisting with the resolution of technical queries from customers and prospective customers

- Maintaining a 'continuous improvement' approach to the delivery of training and customer support services

- Building trusted relationships with customers by establishing personal contacts

- Assisting colleagues with the provision of 1st and 2nd line support and timely resolution of problems

- Acting as a conduit for customer feedback and intelligence

- Contributing to the design, development and testing of new products and releases

- Support content to the corporate website

The successful candidate will

- Be an effective communicator and have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills. The ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential

- Have a track record of transferring knowledge by coaching, teaching or training

- Be creative and innovative in the development of solutions to the challenges presented by technical training

- Be able to set and manage priorities and work with minimal supervision

- Have keen attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Have experience of resolving customer training and support issues in person and remotely

- A UK driving licence
