Cloud ArchitectSecure Cloud Architect - Azure - Basingstoke - Permanent - up to £75k basic *** Applicants must hold a minimum of SC, Security Clearance ***A blue chip multinational Technology firm are looking to recruit an experienced, Security Cleared Cloud Architect. As they continue to grow into new markets around the world there's never been a more exciting time to join the organisation.The Secure Cloud project is creating a multi-cloud offering based on both private and public cloud solutions. The Azure public cloud platform is a key constituent and enabler of the go-to market strategy and its associated mid-term plan forecast. This role will define and execute this strategy as it pertains to the Azure public cloud platform.

Responsibilities:To be the foremost subject matter expert on Azure Public Cloud capabilities and work with colleagues to define new Azure based offerings that support the strategyDefine and implement POC target architectures to validate offering approach to providing accredited hosting on the Azure platformDefine and agree Azure cloud usage policies/processes with relevant stakeholders to ensure business and customer interests are adequately protected/maintained (e.g. Security/Audit/Compliance etc)Provide consultancy to internal & external customers on best practice Azure cloud implementations/usageBuild relationships and engage with business and Microsoft partner contacts to ensure the team is represented within the business/Microsoft Azure partnershipTo identify and understand relevant Azure cloud procurement routes and options along with related cost modelling approachesSupport bids by providing Azure solution definition capability to bid teams as well as cost modelling and resource/effort estimation for Transition and Transformation activitiesSupport the dissemination of Azure cloud knowledge within the business through engagement with practises, curating online learning sources and direct workforce engagement through briefings/presentationsEssential Skills:Extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of secure, highly resilient, large scale cloud based infrastructuresExperience of working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirementsExcellent presentation skills with experience presenting up to CxO level stakeholders/customersExperience of deploying production Azure implementations with successful project completion and service transitionExperience of designing Azure cloud solutions to be compliant with security standards'Hands on' extensive scripting experience in the provisioning/management of Azure cloud infrastructureKnowledge of automation tooling to facilitate CI/CD approaches to IaCExperience of estimating costs/timescales for the implementation of cloud based systemsClearance to SC level
