A well established IT support company is looking for additional resources to help with the 150 clients they support across Scotland and the UK. Being part of a small but strong team of eighteen, you will have the opportunity for greater responsibility than you would in a larger one. As a result, you will have significant influence and input.

Your primary responsibility will be answering the phone, logging tickets into the helpdesk, assist with communication to customers, along with other administrative tasks. Although this is a non-technical role, over time, you will understand basic IT concepts, allowing you to communicate these clearly to both customers and the internal team. You will work closely with the Helpdesk Manager, Accounts and Engineering Teams; as such, there are future opportunities to develop into new positions within the company.

Desired skills

- Customer service experience, that portrays a sense of hospitality, that of being for the customer.

- Strong and confident communication skills to reassurance customers

- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.

- Above-average interest in technology would benefit, but excellent general office IT skills are a must.

- Experience of working with systems and processes that are critical to the success of an organisation

- Driving license would also be beneficial but not required

With offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow city centre, they're looking for someone in the central belt of Scotland. Primarily the role would be working from home, but long term would be a mixture of both office and home. Initial training period would require attending the Edinburgh office. Company will provide any PPE needed, IT hardware and operates an internal bubble structure.
