Junior Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer (MSc PhD Computer Science) *Remote Process* Are you a bright, tech-driven Junior Cyber Security Analyst looking for an opportunity to accelerate your career in a pioneering cyber security start up?

In this Junior Cyber Security Analyst role you'll have the opportunity to develop and refine your skills across threat hunting, penetration testing, SOC analysing and red teaming and will be encouraged to conduct your own research and champion ideas. You'll learn about networks, infrastructure, applications and security and will apply this knowledge to identify threat factors.

You'll have the chance to work directly with clients to triage and mitigate issues, collaborating with the development team to design automated detection algorithms and advance automation-focused projects. Your work could have a real impact, as if the findings are significant the company will support their publishing and responsible disclosure.

Requirements:

You're degree educated (BSc, MSc, PhD, 2.1 or above) from a World Top 25 university in Computer Science or closely related discipline

You have a good understanding and interest in low level concepts including operating systems and networking

You're keenly interested in cyber security, key concepts and protocols

Ideally you'll have some commercial experience in Penetration Testing / Security Monitoring

You have first-rate verbal and written communication skills
