Technical Support Analyst (Linux SQL). Are you a Technical Support Analyst looking for an opportunity to progress your career and make an impact? You could be joining a technology driven Derivatives Trading technology company as they expand their UK presence, you'll be encouraged to take ownership of your work, bring new ideas and influence technology choice allowing you to make your mark.

As a Technical Support Analyst you'll be working closely with the development and testing teams, taking responsibility for investigating any 1st and 2nd line problems that occur with the platform; supporting queries, fixing bugs, finding solutions and seeing the issue through to resolution using JIRA Service Desk to manage tickets. You'll be working on a modern technology stack encompassing AWS, Python, Docker, Elastic Search, JIRA and Confluence.

 

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as fulltime work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation to be office based 2 days a week going forward.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong Linux OS experience including Linux Sys Admin and Linux command line skills
  • Good SQL database skills
  • Strong problem solving / bug fixing skills and able to see issues through to resolution
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Keen to learn new skills

 

As a Technical Support Analyst you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £55k) plus benefits.
