Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer (MSc PhD Computer Science) *Remote Process* Pioneering cyber security start-up is seeking a stand-out technologist to work on their AI and machine learning based platform at the bleeding edge of cyber security.

The organisation provides end-to-end, fully managed security services, enabling companies to respond to identified risks and instantly implement appropriate protective controls in real time. They have helped to protect companies against millions of pounds in damages.

As a Cyber Security Analyst you'll combine security engineering and operations to play a critical role in designing and developing the core platform, in conjunction with working with clients to mitigate risks and liaise with the development teams to advance automation-focused projects.

You'll develop and refine your skills across threat hunting, penetration testing, SOC analysing and red teaming and will be encouraged to conduct your own research, champion ideas and help keep them at the forefront of the industry.

This Cyber Security Analyst role would suit a confident self-starter who is keen to accelerate their career in an all-round role.

Requirements:

You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in Computer Science or closely related discipline (MSc or PhD advantageous)

You have a keen interest in cyber security and understanding of key concepts and protocols

You have commercial experience in SOC analysis, threat hunting and penetration testing / security monitoring

You can code in any OO programming language

You have experience using different operating systems and networking technologies

You're a confident, self-assured communicator who can form robust working relationships at any level of business
