engage|ats is a SaaS Applicant Tracking System which was first developed in 2008 and has about 70 active clients. The web application and supplementary components are currently hosted externally and we will shortly be migrating to Microsoft Azure, whereupon we will also begin a 12 months modernisation programme.

Expected to begin in November 2020, we will be migrating from our legacy code base (including .NET 4.0) to the latest available technologies.

Essential skills

Excellent C# knowledge

Asp.NET MVC (HTML, AJAX, Javascript, Jquery)

SQL Server 2016 (including designing database structures, writing stored procedures)

Desirable skills:

.NET 4

UI development exposure using ASP.NET using custom controls, Telerik

ITextSharp

Workflow 3.5, 4

Linq to sql

Source control management (GIT)

Release management (CI/CD)

Azure development exposure

API development e.g WebAPI

SCRUM

JIRA

You must be able to communicate well with others and willing to share skills and knowledge.  You should have a deep understanding of technical development especially in web development.

The role will require you to work from home, but due to GDPR and contractual reasons you must live in the UK. You will be working with an existing team who know the legacy code and require additional resource to perform the upgrade. We have our own in house Devops team which whilst small, is dedicated to this project.

The role is for an initial contractual period of 12 months.
