Job Description Currently seeking an AX support analyst for a major client within the merseyside region, this role is open to both permanent and contract options, Client is happy to consider remote working or hybrid options. Role & ResponsibilitiesTo act as the internal technical expert for the application portfolio and work as part of the team responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support, de-bugging and development of all systemsFacilitate and embed business change where requiredRequirement gathering from both technical and functional terms and identifying solutionsPreparation and delivery of appropriate documentation for functional and non-functional requirements and solution optionsTesting of changes and management of changes into productionGeneration and delivery of both regular and ad-hoc IT related reporting and MI as requiredAct as a support point of contact for all users company wide and play a key role in driving changes to improve business processes through ongoing systems review and developmentTo identify areas of improvement within the system and its use (including trialling new processes and set ups)Deliver identifiable business benefits from the existing applications; building on the existing platformEnsuring all changes are done following recognised industry best practices and IT processesProvide ad-hoc training and support to the users of the systemLiaison with 3rd party support providers as required to manage incidents from initial notification through to completion

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

Experience of supporting Dynamics AX (must) / CRM ( / D365 in a production environmentRequirement gathering and business analysis from both technical and functional teams and identifying solutionsMust be organised and able to manage own time effectivelyExperience of the full application lifecycle through requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation and supportMust be confident with excellent communication skills, including a good, clear telephone mannerMust have good verbal and numerical reasoning skillsMust be able to work in an efficient and accurate mannerProven experience of working within a fast paced business environment and used to multi taskingFlexible and positive approach to workSelf motivated and a good team playerAdaptable to change in an effective and timely manner

Desirable

Basic knowledge of finance and trade and logistics modules are preferredExperience of managing code in an application support environmentExperience of delivering trainingKnowledge or experience of rental / hire businessExperience of integrating Dynamics AX and/or CRM with other third party systemsUnderstanding of Project and Testing methodologiesD365 CertifiedKnowledge of the rental module is highly desirable
