Lead Software Engineer London to £85k

Lead Software Engineer (Ruby REST API). Utilise your Ruby development experience to create applications that enable speedy and secure access to medical professionals at a high growth software house.

As a Lead Software Engineer you'll develop, test and manage software across the full development lifecycle; from inception to support and as a senior member of the team you'll actively contribute to new product ideas and features, identify market opportunities and provide pre-sales support, meeting and working with clients directly; you'll also have project ownership and provide technical leadership and mentoring to more junior developers.

You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team of tech entrepreneurs helping to modernise health care with a range of web based applications that enable doctors to access things like patient records on smart phones / devices, medical journals and publications as well as patient apps that allow better control of appointment making and access to medical professionals; cutting waiting times and missed appointments.

Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures; thereafter you'll be based in modern offices in a vibrant area of London close to the river.

Requirements:

Strong Ruby / RoR design and development skills

Experience with building and consuming REST API services

You're a good communicator; enjoy collaboration and mentoring and are keen to progress to a hands-on leadership role
