Front End Developer / JavaScript Developer (OOP). City based trading firm is seeking a talented Front End Developer to create new features on a highly feature rich real time trading platform frontend for desktop and mobile devices. You'll be joining an Agile development team, attending stand-ups, conducting code reviews and sprint planning sessions and work closely with the Design Team to review and feedback on designs as well as the Java Team to integrate with the backend trading systems.

The company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with the expectation that you'll be based full-time in the City office in due course (potential for some WFH); there's an informal atmosphere with a good work life balance, casual dress code, bright, funky offices and a peaceful work environment.

Requirements:

Strong vanilla JavaScript development experience; familiarity with Angular and / or React ideally

Experience developing complex single page JavaScript web applications

Good understanding of cross browser / platform issues and solutions including Responsive Design for Mobile applications

Agile team experience with a good understanding of TDD / BDD

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
