REMOTE QA Engineer - APIs / Scripting

A technology focused media client based in Cambridge is looking for a 100% Remote QA Engineer / Test Analyst with strong manual and APIs testing skills to join their growing team. The role is working for a forward thinking & modern media business who are expanding rapidly working with client such as NASA, HBO & SKY, NBC Sports and Top 5 US Universities.

The organisation are doing extremely well in the current climate, are very financially secure with a Development & Testing pipeline set for the next 2-3 years. The are pumping huge amounts of money into the technology department so this is a great time to get on board.

The role is paying from £30,000 up to £40,000 plus benefits including being fully REMOTE & a good benefits package

QA Engineer / Test Analyst role:

* Developing a high understanding of any software under test

* Planning test approaches & designing test cases

* Identifying, documenting and owning test issues / bugs

* Querying the databases to identify test data or isolate the cause of issues

* Deploying code changes to the various pre-production & Live environments

* Developing their automation test suite

QA Engineer / Test Analyst skills:

* 2 + years experience in Manual software testing

* Experience testing Web APIs

* Experience in a scripting language - either C#, Python, JavaScript etc
