User Adoption Consultant

Location: Home Based / UK Travel to meet business needs

About the role

The User Adoption team work with a wide range of high profile clients to ensure that Microsoft Skype for Business and Office 365  is adopted successfully into everyday working practice and improve this where possible. To achieve this, we provide a range of offerings which can be divided into pre and post go-live services.

This role reports into the Head of User Adoption. It is primarily based in the St Albans office but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites around the UK. 

As a member of the User Adoption team, you will be required to assist in all of the following elements and, in some cases, take a lead role to ensure they are delivered successfully.

Summary of responsibilities

Encourage user adoption and embed a sense of excitement in the business regarding Microsoft Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams & office 365. 

Perform lead floor-walking role, reporting and communicating issues and resolutions to the wider team.

Detect business opportunities where Microsoft office 365 can be leveraged and improve current processes.

Analyse current Business functions, and advise how these can be migrated to Office 365. 

Demo technology and hardware to business and some IT users.

Liaise between business and IT on all requirements.

Deliver training courses to users on how to use office 365,  Researching, developing and creating new training course offerings.

Host drop-in clinics for new Office 365 users to attend.

Produce instructional documentation on Office 365 functionality. 

Developing and creating processes and supporting documentation to ensure a consistent and streamlined approach for all customer engagements.

Developing and creating new commercial offerings to broaden the User Adoption services portfolio.

Delivering onsite consultancy and writing site visit reports.

Regular communication with user base on tips, tricks and best practices.

Key skills required

Clear understanding of the full range of office 365  functionality (highly desirable but not essential).

Excellent presentation skills

Strong PC literacy and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proactive and professional attitude when on client site
