One of my key clients in Galway, are currently seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team on an initial 9 month hourly rate contract. The company are a globally recognised medical device company, focusing on the manufacture of drug delivery devices. Title: Validation Engineer Contract: An initial 9 month hourly rate contract Location: Galway Your role as a Validation Engineer will be to lead cross functional teams on complex technical projects to deliver Quality, Service and Cost focused improvements at Supplier sites.

Responsibilities:

Completing product, process and material changes through Process characterisation, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), change control and documentation updates.Take the lead in troubleshooting complex technical issues with a cross functional team including Supplier and in house support in a process sustaining or improvement activity.Identification of process improvement opportunities through data analysis to include: improved quality, increased capacity/service and product cost. Perform other duties as required. Requirements:

Degree in Engineering / Science Disciplines. 4 years experience as a Validation Engineer within the medical device industry. Excellent communication skills.
