Project Manager - International Logistics - London Project Manager - International Logistics - London The pay rate on offer is £500 per day and the duration of the contract is 3 months.This role is working for a large multinational retailer. The role sits within their International unit, and knowledge of International Logistics/Supply Chain is essential.Key accountabilities and measures Drive and implement Logistics change initiatives on-time, within budget and to achieve agreed deliverables minimising any impact to the Business (Cost, Quality & TimeCreate business cases to assess both cost and lead times and present to senior stakeholdersCoordinate internal and external resources including Sourcing, Bus, Supply Chain & Logistics, IT, Finance teams plus International Partners in a cohesive manor to ensure the project is successful Keep business stakeholders aligned and engaged throughout the project lifecycle Work with IT and Change teams to ensure all project planning is aligned to key critical path milestones.Manage and mitigate any risks and issues associated with external dependencies (other programmes & business initiatives).Key skills Strong strategic thinker with a bias for action and deliveryThe ability to work under pressure in an environment which values fast, impactful deliveryAbility to set direction when dealing with ambiguity High level of numeracy, analytical and reporting skills. Competent with Powerpoint and high proficiency with Excel Strong interpersonal & communication skills through both verbal and written media to initiate and build strong relationships with wider project team & build a network of supportive colleagues in wider business Great stakeholder management skills across senior stakeholders, project teams and business leads and the ability to listen, gather input, summarise and feedback requirements International supply chain knowledge and understanding is essential An appreciation for process design, implementation, and continuous improvement
