Head of Operations (Residential Construction/Manufacturing)

£50,000 - £60,000 + Pension + Holidays + BenefitsHead of Operations position on offer at a family run business that has built their success through their attention to detail and providing expertly finished products to high end residential clients, offering the chance to lead multiple departments and play a vital role in their growth post COVID-19.Do you have experience of leading multiple departments on residential construction projects? Do you come from a construction manufacturing background?This company is a family run business that offer their clients a full architectural service. They work from initial project take on, design and manufacture of their product, through to construction. Due to a restructure of the company and increased business load, they are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to help lead their dedicated team.You will play a crucial part in the organisation and oversee the running of the design, production, site operations (logistics, material sourcing), and sales departments - including managing senior members of each department, along with being closely involved with a lot of the decision making. You will be working closely with high end clients to deliver a complete and bespoke service, therefore private and residential sector experience would be advantageous. The role will adapt with increased responsibility as the business expands.This role will suit someone with experience in both a Technical and Operations manager role, with industry experience in construction and manufacturing, who is not afraid to command authority with long established staff.The role;

- Working closely with the Design, Production, Site and Sales teams

- Leading teams towards the future direction of the business

- Playing a key role in the development of the business post COVID-19

- Managing several projects at once and working closely with high end clients

The person;

- Experience in a similar role within the construction and manufacturing industries

- Have experience of leading teams within design, production, site operations and sales

- Experience with managing residential construction projects

- Experience of successfully managing projects to time, budget and scale
