Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Senior IT Technician to work as part of their technical team supporting SME's and Schools in Cornwall and Devon.

They are looking for a seasoned technician with a minimum of 3 years' experience supporting Microsoft Networks and Microsoft Cloud Services. Duties will include both support and project work in a busy environment covering an interesting and wide ranging list of products and services.

The role will include a mixture of office based, home working and working at customer premises.

Desired skills

- Microsoft Server Operating Systems

- Windows 10

- Microsoft Office

- Microsoft-Office 365 - Intune preferable

- Experience working with Firewalls preferably Sonicwall

- TCP/IP Networking

- Endpoint security products preferable

- Virtualisation - Hyper-V - Replication preferable

- Microsoft Azure preferable

- Use of common backup and disaster recovery software

- Switching and WiFi knowledge (Unifi) preferable

- Experience working with PSA and RMM Software Tools preferable

- Other valuable skills include SIP / 3CX / Microsoft Teams - Direct Routing

- Must have a Valid UK Driving license

£28,000 - £35,000

The company encourages staff to follow the Microsoft MCP Syllabus and complete at least 1 MCP Exam per year and will cover the cost of the exams and training material.

The role is based in Penryn with home working and working at customer premises in Cornwall and Devon.
