Senior Developer, Start-up in Recreation SectorJob description My client is searching for their next team member to join them in their exciting journey. Are your business-oriented? Curious? As a software developer here, you will work in developing and maintaining products within the company. Working in a team of 4-5 people you will be in an agile environment with a large area of responsibility. You will work with development throughout the stack focusing on the backend. You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, doing everything from specification to delivery. Depending on individual competence you will also be able to immerse yourself in your area(s) of interest. They work in short sprints, having regular reviews of currents work and discuss on-going issues. Part of the on-going work for the development team is also technical support where they help the support team with technical questions and troubleshooting. This client is a technologically oriented company that is passionate about exercise and wants to promote recreational sports across the globe. They have grown to become a market leader in with Sweden and Norway and are continuing to grow throughout Europe and Asia. Now their main offering is a complete booking and customer management system and they are working towards adding several exciting services for its users including matchmaking, ranking and visualisation of results. Your Profile You should want to work at a product company with a SaaS solution. You should have a strong academic background, an eagerness to learn and gain inspiration from new technologies. You should have several years of experience with Open Source development (preferably Java). To thrive in the role as Senior Developer here, you should be result-driven and solution-oriented. You like to work hands-on with development and at the same time have a strategic mindset.
