Look no further and lets chat! I am now recruiting for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a team of 40 Engineers across two sites in the UK. The role can be based at their Nottinghamshire site or alternatively at their site near to Scarborough.The company has a wide range of products that you will be able to get stuck into throughout the full product lifecyle programming in C on Realtime Operating systems and leasing with the Electronics Engineers/PCB Design engineers. Their company are top manufacturers of safety critical systems and heavily invest within their R&D teams with UK manufacturing sites and over 100+ Products.Your role will be to be responsible for Embedded software development in a fast-moving engineering environment. You will be primarily programming in Embedded C for ARM cortex M series controllers and working throughout the full software lifecycle including requirements capture, design, development, verification and validation.Some of the core skills needed for this role include:- A degree in Software / Computer EngineeringEmbedded C programmingRTOS/Bare MetalARM MicrocontrollersPython (advantageous_Ability to architect small software programs and approach software development with a structured approach.Working knowledge of communications protocols (RS232, RS485), advantageous protocols include CAN (J1939 or CANopen), USB and Ethernet.Use of IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, Keil, Eclipse, GCC and/or other similar tools I appreciate you may not have all of the skills listed but if you feel this would be suitable I would be very keen to speak to you!
