This dynamic SME is a specialist geotechnical design consultancy that work with some of the biggest names across the UK for foundation construction works. Despite the recent pandemic they have continued to do well and with impressive growth plans in place they are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer.

In this role you will be carrying out project geotechnical design work from assessment of geotechnical information, through to production of detailed design calculations and reports. You will be liaising with clients to facilitate the delivery of the projects on time and to budget. The role will involve the design of piles, embedded retaining walls, earthworks and slope retention.

This is a great opportunity that would ideally suit a Structural Engineer who has worked on geotechnical design projects who is looking to specialise whilst working for an expanding SME where you will be involved in the whole lifecycle of the projects whilst having an opportunity to grow alongside this ambitious company.

The Role:

· Geotechnical Design and Project Management

· Manage own projects from concept to delivery

· Working in a highly skilled close knit team

· £32,000 - £40,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Benefits

The Person:

· Structural Engineer

· Experience in Geotechnical design

· Degree in Structural, Civil or Geology

· Strong understanding of soil mechanics principles

· Someone looking for a diverse and challenging role where they can develop technical skills
