£30,000-£42,000 + Progression + Autonomy + Pension + HolidayExcellent opportunity for a current Machine Shop Manager, or a CNC Turner looking to take the next step in their career, to join an industry leader offering a varied and interesting day to day role, great exposure to research and design and prototyping, and long term stability and security.This company are at the forefront of technology when it comes to physical security systems and outside the box solutions for a variety of challenges faced by delivery and haulage companies. Due to the recent uplift in this market their order book is exceptionally full.In this role you will lead a small team to create bespoke prototype parts, you will consult with design and research departments on what is possible, to help improve these designs before they go into production. Your role will usually be 70% managing, liaising and reporting and 30% hands-on working with Mazak Turning machines. You will work 07:30-16:00, Monday to Friday.The ideal candidate will be an apprentice trained CNC Turner, or a Machine Shop Manager capable of getting hands-on when required, with Mazak experience. Candidates must also have CAD/CAM experience, ideally HSM Works and/or Fusion 360 ideally but and CAD/CAM experience will be considered.
