Role and Responsibilities:Develop new functionality and maintain the company's trading platform.Initiatives include product enhancements and new workflows for trading, and front end as well as backend development.Perform above duties utilizing React, REST, Websockets, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Gradle, Redis.Improve the scale and performance of the growing systemProduction support, including investigating and fixing production issuesCoordinate with business analysts and quality assurance on a daily basisPresent technical designs of work performed to the various groups (including Development, QA, BA and the business)Minimum 10 years of Total Experience.Required Technical Skills5+ year’s delivery experience of enterprise applications within the Java development stack. 4/5 years’ experience on React.Delivery experience of re-engineering legacy programs to distributed systems would be a bonus.Experience including analysis, design, coding and implementation of low-latency, high-volume transactional systems. Excellent Web development skills using HTML5, JavaScript, NPM, ReachJS, Redux, REST, Websockets.Strong OO design knowledge, core Java skills including design patterns knowledge. Experience with container-based event-driven micro services architecture using ECS, Spring Boot, and REST API.Proven record with AWS services - ElastiCache, Kafka, Kinesis, Lambdas, IAM, API Gateway, Cloud Formation.Experience working in Agile EnvironmentDelivery experience using continuous integration - ideally JenkinsWorking within (and knowledge of) the financial industry is a bonus.
