£40,000-£45,000 + Car Allowance + Generous Pension + Plenty of overtime

This global company specialise in the Automation sector covering a wide range of industries. As part of a global group they operate worldwide for a range of industry leading customers. This role will be specialising within the petrochemical sector of the business which is seeing consistent growth. With continued investment and ongoing plans for the department, they now require an additional DCS Service and Support Engineer to join the growing team.

In this role you will be based at the office in Aberdeen and will undertake intensive training to get you up to speed on the company specifics as well as ongoing training to support your professional development. Your role will be split between the office and the field, spending a lot of your time traveling to site to work on different projects. You will be required to work throughout the UK, offshore and internationally, potentially working away for several weeks at a time. You will be involved in the specification and design of systems, factory acceptance tests, installation, commissioning and final hand over to the customer. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30-5 but there will be a requirement for flexibility to suit the projects, and there is also plenty of scope for overtime to increase your earnings by as much as 50%.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of distributed control systems and be familiar with working offshore.
