Software Developer in Test Leeds to £65k

Software Developer in Test (Java Spring API Automation Testing). Do you enjoy breaking things / taking things apart to see how they work and putting them back together? You could be joining a fast growing Challenger Bank that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology.

As a Software Developer in Test you will join a cross functional Agile team responsible for the design, development and quality of highly complex real-time trading systems. As an integral part of the team you will write automated tests from scratch for Java Spring software and RESTful APIs. You'll take ownership and provide guidance on testing to software developers ensuring that software is developed with testing in mind.

You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit; a well stocked kitchen / canteen area in a highly motivated team atmosphere with flexible working opportunities (2-3 days a week work from home; 100% during social distancing measures).

Requirements:

Strong Java coding skills with experience of developing automated tests from scratch

Good knowledge JVM technologies, Spring and RESTful APIs

Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile development processes

Collaborative with strong communication skills
