Data Engineer - Python

A brand new role has arisen for an experienced Data Engineer who has a brilliant technical skills in Python, cloud technologies, star schemas and more to join one of the most recognise NGO's in London. We are looking for someone to lead the way on Data Engineering within the charity so any experience in Azure tools, Python, Data lakes or more would be great. You must have the ability to code using Python and just a keen passion for all things cloud based.

This NGO are going through a huge data transformation currently and need someone who is going to take lead on all the technical development needed to do this project. We are in the process of shifting our focus from traditional database development into cloud based so any experience in this process will be hugely beneficial. The perfect person will have a bit of experience of all areas of data engineering from big data, to data science to ETL / Data Warehouse Development.

Skills required for the Data Engineer (Python) are:

- Strong technical skills across all aspects of data engineering Big Data, Data Science and various cloud technologies

- Ability to work with senior stakeholders across a business

- Brilliant Python coding skills, star schemas, snowflake and more

- A strong eagerness to learn and develop your Career further

Data Engineer / BI Developer / Data Architect / Database Developer / Data Warehouse Developer /

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000

Location: Central London (ability to work from home 1 - 2 days a week from home)

Note: Due to the ongoing situation this role will start remotely and ASAP. This is an initial 9 month FTC with the chance of extension.
