Security Operations Centre Engineer Leeds to £90k *Remote interview WFH*

Security Operations Centre Engineer / Analyst (SIEM Splunk AWS Linux) *Remote interview WFH*. Are you a Security technologist that really understands the tools and technologies you use? You could be utilising this knowledge, continually learning and progressing your career at a fast growing SaaS FinTech solutions provider as they establish their Leeds office.

As a Security Operations Centre Engineer you will manage the end to end Security Operations; you'll know what a good SOC looks like, the tools and technologies needed and make recommendations to use the best tool for the job and introduce new components as required.

You'll partner with key stakeholders and manage 3^rd party suppliers, together with detailed processes and run books specifying how SecOps interacts with the Site Reliability Engineering team and other technology teams across the business. There's no legacy systems and little red tape to get through so you'll be able to get things done and make a real impact in this senior yet hands-on position.

You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit; a well stocked kitchen / canteen area in a highly motivated team atmosphere with flexible working opportunities (2-3 days a week WFH).

Requirements:

You're a highly technical SOC Engineer / Analyst

You have a good knowledge of SIEM technology, they're using Splunk currently

You have a strong technical understanding and experience with AWS with a particular focus on security

You have a good working knowledge of Linux including the ability to run command lines, editing files and scripting

You have excellent communication skills and are happy liaising with senior stakeholders and engineering teams; collaborative and pragmatic
