C# / ASP.Net Developer

International Banking Group - Contract

6 months duration tbc

£400-£450 per day PAYE (Inside IR35)

Home Working (Client London Based) - Nearest Tube Aldgate East

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years in addition to already having recruited into this team, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an established ASP.Net / C# Developer with a strong banking / financial background.

This role sits within the Finance Application Development team, serving Finance. This role is to complete development tasks for the team in addition to BAU support of systems currently looked after by the team. We have a rapid development model, involving Itra Team QA so QA experience with clear documentation skills is essential. There will be opportunities to work with Business users in Finance to carry out development work to automate their daily tasks, with tasks including Business Analysis and technical documentation.

This contract will run initially until the end of the year; however, it is very common to receive renewals with this bank, and we would expect you to be on site for longer than this initial period. This role will be working from home from day one, however in normal circumstances would be based in Central London close to Aldgate East Tube Station.

Skills & Experience

Functional / Technical Competencies (essential):

*Solid and demonstrable development with SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, ASP.net, C#

*Query Optimisation

*Good debugging/ Hands-on approach

*Understanding of Business Analysis

*Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data problem investigation, diagnosis, and correction

*Good verbal communication skills.

*Strong Documentation Skills

*SSRS, OLAP

*Strong QA

Functional / Technical Competencies (preferred):

*ASP 6

*VBA

*Cognos

Work Experience (essential):

*QA experience

*Automation experience (VBA)

Work Experience (preferred):

*Experience working on MI projects
