Who will you be working for? With a wealth of experience to draw on through working with customers from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and central Government, Reed Professional Services (RPS) understands the broad scope of project managing software design, build and development programmes that are end solutions focused. Our emphasis is on developing quality from the outset, testing at every step to keep both budget and deliverables on track. What will you be doing? RPS is looking for a Web application support engineer/developer to support of our client's video Desktop Downloads application. The requirement is for cross platform web app development (Mac + Windows) including support of video playback, DRM and dynamic downloads from Google. We require someone to provide 3rd-line support, responding to out of hours calls (including out of hours calls in the case of P1/P2 incidents arising from live releases), responses to OS/platform changes. Please note, this is a part time remote opportunity expected to require 1 day per week of the successful consultant's time. There is an obligation to be available for out of hours support.
