QA Test Engineer London to £37k

QA Test Engineer / Software Tester (Manual / Automation Selenium) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting software within a flexible, informal, multi-cultural, R&D environment with a real focus on training and development and flexible working with core hours of 1030-1530?

You could be joining a scientific software house that supplies advanced process simulation, modelling and optimisation software for the process industries (power, biochemical and pharmaceutical).

As a QA Test Engineer you will utilise static testing methodologies (e.g. Inspection) to ensure the quality aspects of documents used to define new products, features and functions. You'll create, review and execute test scripts; both manual and automated (Selenium WebDriver) and perform Regression Testing on a variety of Operating System platforms and browsers. As a key part of an Agile development team you will act of the QA point of contact for development projects and represent QA at Agile meetings, reporting on deliverables.

Based in West London you'll be joining a supportive, diverse international team, continually learning and improving your skills.

Requirements:

Degree educated, 2.1 or above in Computer Science (or similar discipline)

Both manual and automation test experience with Selenium WebDriver and a desire to improve your skills in this area

Good knowledge of Windows and / or Linux OS as well as a variety of browsers

Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle

Strong analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Collaborative with good communication skills
