A Global Bank currently require a Planning Manager, for an initial 6 month contract based in London, paying up to £450 per day via PAYE or £565 per day via Umbrella.Responsibilities This role is within the business side of the team and its purpose is to work with country and regional Open Banking teams and OB-SS Technology to ensure all elements of channel reporting are understood and delivered. This covers technical performance and conduct metrics, commercial performance (cost and income), and developing scenario based forecasts for all services to ensure capacity and cost can be well managed.Builds effective working relationships with product owners and technical teamsActs as the golden source for all Open Banking performance dataEnsures compliance with regulatory MI requriementsPresents data in a meaningful and easy to consume wayResponsible for data quality controlAnalyses data to identify trends and produce actionable intelligence for business and technology stakeholdersAnalyses the market to identify relevant market trends, innovative products and early indicatorsForecasting channel growth and its implicationsAssists with resource requirements planning for new products or servicesOften acts as an expert across multiple products or services simultaneouslyAOP CreationForecasting costsExperience RequiredExtensive experience with MI analsysis, presentation and requirementsGood verbal and written communicationFinancial backgroundCost forecasting experienceAOP Planning experienceBanking/Consultancy experience is a mustExcellent analytical skills including expert use of excelSound judgmental skills to identify trends and insightsProven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspectiveProven ability to work with developers and business stakeholdersPlease do submit your most up to date CV in the first instance.
