A fintech lender is seeking a Data Scientist to join their analytics team as the sole Data Scientist to introduce new ideas and help shape the business. The role will involve developing risk models, testing and evaluating ideas against historical data. You will take ownership of the entire process, pick up the current data science stack and models in production, challenge the current process and make improvements. This is initially a stand alone Data Scientist position but with the opportunity to build a team as the business expands. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years data science experience and hands on development experience with Python or R. Experience working within the financial services sector, particularly knowledge of lending and credit risk would be advantageous.
