This role is based in central Birmingham for a large community based organisation and will be overseeing the overall IT Security for a large enterprise looking to improve their maturity.The role will be ideally suited to someone who is hands on and has most likely come from an Infrastructure background with good technical skills in those areas but has moved into Information Security.You will be ensuring the the Office 365 estate is secure including Identity Access Management and Multi-Factor Authentication.You will be expected to lead the way in collaboration with the external testing teams to ensure vulnerability management and risk assessments are carried out thoroughly as well adhering to Data Protection/GDPR guidelines across the business.Long term, there is scope to be integrating SIEM tools into the environment so any experience in that area would be a bonus but not essential, the same goes for any sort of Security certificates.
