Head of IT This role will deliver excellence in service and drive productivity throughout the organisation through the provision of effective systems, continual improvement of IT services and data integrity. Responsibilities Delivery of programmes, projects, enhancements and operational support of all systemsBusiness Applications - build and maintain a detailed plan to deliver all committed projects and programmes looking forward c. 3 years. Manage changes in roadmap direction, scope, costs, resources and timing. Medium to long term IT planning - proactively making the business aware of changes in technology that would provide benefits and returns on investment. Accessing/utilizing latest IT technologies to keep the business ahead of its competitors Leadership for the IT team and a key contributor to the senior management team Skills Essential: Experience managing an I.T. team providing services and delivering large complex programmes Experience in developing and implementing IT strategy Strong portfolio, programme and project management techniques. Proven organizational skills with a clearly methodical approach Demonstratable understanding and business domain knowledge in an organisation that is commercially focused and driving for rapid growth and expansion. Strong business acumen. Capable of managing expectations throughout the full-service delivery cycle and sponsoring successful transformation to enable and drive real business change. Ability to deliver under pressure. Exceptional aptitude for problem solving, and follow through Capable of visualising a problem context/situation, identifying a number of resolution options and evaluating from concept to implementation. Excellent communication skills and customer facing skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas simply at all levels of the organisation including to the Executive team. A strong service and business partnering mind-set. Desirable: JDE & Microsoft 365 functional knowledge Technical experience Salary range £50K - £65K Reporting into the Senior Leadership Team with scope to grow into a board level role.
