This is an opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company working on Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design for the mobile audio market! It represents a great opportunity to work in an environment focused on innovation where you will be inspired by the best in their field and have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects.

In this position you will be required to lead a team of engineers with responsibility for the delivery of complex Mixed-Signal products and will be involved in the design and development of new circuit architectures and techniques on advanced process nodes whilst having an awareness of competing solutions and commercial pressures.

You will be required to participate in all aspects of the design, from concept to production silicon including contributing to specification, architectural development, transistor-level design, SPICE, Matlab and Verilog (System Verilog, Verilog A, Verilog-AMS) modelling and simulation, layout supervision, post-layout simulation, chip-level verification and lab validation.

As a Principal engineer you will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the group including recruitment, mentoring, review and supervision of junior engineers.

Masters or PhD qualified in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics, you will have relevant experience in Analog/Mixed signal CMOS circuit design with a proven track record of delivery and commercial success.

Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to work well in a team and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be organised, thorough and detailed with a high level of self-motivation, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience is required in some or all of the following; low power clock generation circuits, oscillators, PLLs, FLLs, Audio, ADCs, DACs, DSP or algorithm development, power management and/or Digital system level design.

Excellent benefits are on offer plus the chance to join a well established team with strong retention rates, working on advanced technology in one of the main semiconductor hubs of the UK. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
