JOB DETAILS

You can be a Quantitative Researcher, Quantitative Developer, Low-Latency Developer or C++ Developer - if you're the right kind of person, there'll be a job for you.

This office is hiring senior roles so there's a lot of autonomy involved - you'll really hit the ground running and will need to be prepared to take the lead.

You'll be based in their New York base, with regular trips to Chicago - ideally, you'll want to work in either location or will be happy travelling between the two. There's some flexibility around this, so you'll be calling the shots and can choose where you spend your time.

You'll be joining a proprietary trading firm during their 2020 growth spurt. The firm are hiring for a range of roles in their Chicago office and NYC location, so please apply to find out more about each specific one if this sounds like you.

Whatever team you land in will be collaborative, so you'll need to be open to this - the company has a tech start-up/ Google-style environment. That being said, everyone who works there enjoys a high level of autonomy, so independent thinking is also encouraged. There's a big focus on work/ life balance and creating a space you can really thrive in - along with free food!

The company currently deal in futures, and you'll be joining them as they branch out to equities, too. They've enjoyed huge success but have purposefully stayed small (at under 200 staff) and true to their roots in order to nurture individual success. Now that they're expanding, they're bringing everyone along for the ride - including you - with that same core intent on helping individual development.

You'll need experience with C++ experience (Python would be handy but isn't essential). You could be more math-focused with a background in machine learning or have architecture skills and love running code. Either way, you'll have a can-do attitude and a desire to join a company that are really picking up the pace and changing the industry.

Every company says they care about their staff, but this one really does - right from the interview process. Part of your application will involve an interview with the HR team to outline your goals and personal ambitions. This really sets the tone of the firm and shows how much they invest in their people.

You'll enjoy a fully-stocked pantry and weekly (free) team lunches and group outings to help you get settled. Casual dress, a competitive salary and an on-site relaxation room are just a few more great aspects of this role...

We'll review your application and get in touch to find your perfect fit. Email [email protected] - no up-to-date CV required.
