Systems Engineer / Platform Engineer Leeds to £85k *Remote Interview WFH*
Systems Engineer / Platform Engineer (Linux AWS CI/CD Terraform IaC). Are you a technologist Systems Engineer seeking complex and interesting systems to deepen your knowledge and experience, moving to a modern Platform Engineering role?
You could be joining a technology driven FinTech. As a Systems Engineer / Platform Engineer you will focus on automating builds via CI/CD pipelines and getting code into production as quickly and efficiently as possible; supporting services before they go live via system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You'll use automation to scale systems sustainably and help to make improvements, evolving systems and driving change that improves the reliability, speed and security.
You'll be based in modern open plan offices in Central Leeds with a great team atmosphere, casual dress code, a fully stocked fridge and lots of social activities.
Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures (with 2-3 days work from home going forward).
Requirements:
Strong experience as a Systems Engineer / Platform Engineer or DevOps coupled with CI/CD experience: Terraform (build and deploy experience) essential plus at least some of the following: Jenkins, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
Good knowledge of Cloud based platforms (AWS preferred)
Python coding skills
Good knowledge of Linux OS, Networking (routing, switching)
Collaborative technologist, continual learner who is constantly seeking improvement
